The 10 spokes (71 m) hub wheels have 4 mm soft PU at the sides, the 12 spokes (74 mm) have 1,5 mm soft material.

That is why the 10 spokes wheels have more grip than the 12 spokes wheels.

The 10 spokes is a sprint wheel and the 12 spokes is more used for the long distance.
